The Spirituality in Health Care Network

Welcome to the Spirituality in Health Care Network

And for many of you, welcome back! We are relaunching our in-person meetings in Toronto since pausing during the pandemic.

The Spirituality in Health Care Network is a group of health professionals, healers, spiritual leaders, artists, and community members dedicated to integrating spirituality in health care.

We are a volunteer organization that meets five times a year. We invite local and visiting leaders to share their perspectives on how spirituality and health care can work together.

We need your help. Our email list has been lost. Please join SHCN News to receive future updates, even if you have joined in the past. Please share widely, even to past attendees. Thanks for your help in rebuilding our network.

We look forward to seeing you at one of our events!

ABOUT US

The Spirituality in Health Care Network is a group of health care professionals, healers, spiritual leaders, artists, and community members dedicated to integrating spirituality in health care.

We are a bridging network that offers a place where everyone is welcome, regardless of beliefs. We provide a forum to share and learn from each other as we explore how spirituality and health care can and does work together.

We are a volunteer organization that meets in person, five times a year in Toronto. We invite local and visiting leaders to share their perspectives and engage the wisdom and experience of our community.

SHCN was founded in 2000 by Yvonne Kason MD and John Thornton MD in Toronto. Larry Nusbaum MD is our current chair.
